It is extraordinary how two teams are only separated on goal difference after 37 games of football over a long, hard-fought campaign of quite brilliant entertainment at times.
Manchester United know that victory at the JJB Stadium will be required next Sunday, with Chelsea expected to beat Bolton Wanderers, who, like United's hosts Wigan Athletic, have nothing to play.
