Ebanks for the memories - Wolves' star striker is ready for the step up to the Premier League
With Wolves' play-off dreams over as the Championship drew to a close last weekend, it may already be time for their star striker to seek a new challenge. Promoted West Brom and Stoke will be on alert.

Although Sylvan Ebanks-Blake only signed for Wolves in January, he managed to score 12 goals in just 19 games for his new club, and has formed a formidable partnership with Andy Keogh.
Already an effective Championship level striker with Plymouth, his successful few months in the Midlands have further aided his cause to challenge at Premiership level, and Wolves’ failure to reach the play-offs may well see him making a swift exit
A product of the Manchester United youth team, Ebanks-Blake displays frightening pace, deceptive strength, and as his goal of the season contender against Charlton – where he turned through a defender’s legs and found the top corner from an impossible angle – proved, a fantastic touch. At £1.5m, Wolves may well have picked up the bargain of January. Unfortunately goals like that have also alerted clubs to his potential.
If Ebanks-Blake did decide to try his luck in the Premier League, I see a number of clubs that would crave his services. The likes of Bolton and Middlesbrough have struggled for goals this season, and Ebanks-Blake could tempt them. Whether he would want to leave the free-scoring Wolves for a club like this is questionable. For me he could cut it at clubs with loftier ambitions, perhaps a Portsmouth or a Newcastle, whose attacking football would be a more attractive option

If fyou had spoken to SEB you would know that he wants to stay with wolves. Yes he wants to play in the Prem but when he's fired wolves into an automatic spot next season

Strange article. Wolves scored fewer goals than Colchester, who were relegated bottom. Free scoring indeed. SEB has also said several times publically he plans to stay.
