How THREE Blackburn Rovers players gate-crashed the All-Star party
There have been so many good performances this season in the Premier League, but not all the stars are with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

The season is finally coming to an end and only now can we really declare who should be in our Premier League All-Star team.
We have all had a go at choosing our fantasy teams throughout the year based on week-by-week ratings but now it's time to look at the season as a whole. We all have our own ideas and favourites, so here's mine:
In goal i stick with my choice all season - BRAD FRIEDEL. He has helped Blackburn nearly gain a European spot once again and has saved the club many a point in matches this term. The tall Yank is an integral part of Rovers success and the fans think he is brilliant. Just look at the fantastic match he had against Manchester Utd a few weeks ago. I think he is the best in the Premier League at the moment.
My centre-backs have to be the England duo RIO FERDINAND and JOHN TERRY. They play well as a partnership for England and are too outstanding central defenders in the Premier League. They are dependable, brave and they have what it takes to play against the best strikers in Europe. Both players are solid and bolster the defence of their respective clubs, Manchester United and Chelsea.

God awful grammar.
Spot the f**k ups: 1.They play well as a partnership for England and are too outstanding central defenders in the Premier League. 2.In goal i stick with my choice all season 3.He has done well for Portsmouth this season and deserves success when playnig in the FA Cup Final next week. 4.His free-kickS taking and amazing ability have made him a revelation in the Manchester Utd. 5.Bargain buy Cruz has been a solid attacker for blackburn and has done well to fit in so quickly for his club.

I see you've heeded my comments on one of your previous articles Chris. How do you expect anyone to take your views seriously if you don't even give your work a cursory glance for quite frankly obvious spelling mistakes? 'Sportingo Select' is becoming farcical if the screening process can't pick up on basic English. Eye Hoap Ewe Luk Cairfuli At Eur Next Artickle.

Editors are there to do the editing, I dont claim to use the best grammer in the business, though i did get an A in English at A-level! Oh well.
by JD Peters on May 07, 2008
Wait, so you want the editors to pick up on the fact that you don't know the difference between TOO and TWO, or to use capitals for I?

no i never said that but when i get a flow i write write write then submit. relax chill and go with the flow!
by Michael Thomas on May 08, 2008
Fair enough Chris, you 'go with the flow'. But at least press spell check when you've finished! Seriously, playnig? And this isn't just like its a one-off, pretty much all of your work is littered with basic errors. Your motivation for writing is pretty clear to me and it's not passion for sport or wanting to get your views across. In a word, soulless.

I have to agree with Michael - not only do you liberally besprinkle your articles with grammatical goofs, but you don't know much about the subjects you write on. Tennis excepted, your articles are very one dimensional, like reading the stream of consciousness of a 12-year-old Motson wannabe. Three things stick in my mind; your piece on Dwight Yorke (edging VERY close to racism), your piece on your favourite game (you got the players and scorers wrong if memory serves), and today's article on why Andy Johnson would be a great signing for BRFC - have you seen the season he has had?!

i think all you losers need to get a life if the main topic of discussion is poor gramer
JD P - I am glad your still reading my articles - you must like them. try being a bit more happy in life!

Despite JD and MT's reservations regarding your grammer (our grandma!) and spelling (as in Jeff?, poor Sky Sports reference). Thank you for recognising the talent that has come from ewood Park this season... unfortunately the lack of a depth of squad has meant that the season has panned out like most of us hoped. However, I would add one lad that really is over-looked. Stevie Warnock... His performances at left back, have been good and certainly he warrants a place in the England Squad ahead of Cole and Bridge
