As Premier League teams gear up to add to their squads in the summer, Sportingo's Mark Apostolou looks at the overseas players the top teams are looking at.

'He has made it clear he is looking to move to England for a shot at the big time'

The speculation is beginning to reach fever pitch as tabloids and websites grind the rumour mill over an odd stew of potential  - and downright unlikely  - signings making their way to the Premier League.

David Villa (Valencia) – Linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United

The diminutive striker scores goals for fun for Valencia and regularly finds himself at the top of the scoring charts in La Liga. However, he has made it clear he is looking to move to England for a shot at the Premier League. A fee of around £25 million has been doing the rounds, which could be problematic for some of the clubs linked with the 26-year-old Spanish international. Would be a fantastic signing.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar (Ajax) – Linked with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United

Another player who can’t stop scoring, albeit in the Dutch Eredivisie, this lethal finisher seems about ready to leave his homeland for a shot at the big time. Apparently he will either head for the Premier League or La Liga, having seen fellow countrymen doing well in England (Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Denis Bergkamp) may encourage Huntelaar to come to these shores.

Samuel Eto’o (Barcelona) – Linked with Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea

Eto’o is a stellar striker with big-time experience and he's still only 27, so it’s no surprise that everyone wants the Cameroonian. He has managed a goal a game average even though Barcelona are having a pretty poor season. He has a fantastic eye for goal and can score spectacular goals as well as his fair share of tap-in’s. He won’t be cheap!

Ronaldinho (Barcelona) – Linked with Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United

Another superstar said to be keen to leave the Nou Camp, Ronaldinho’s star may have faded a little but he is still an amazing talent that is obviously being linked with most major European clubs. AC Milan are said to be the most likely side to clinch his signature but apparently Chelsea and Man City have an outside chance of persuading the World Cup winner to the UK.

Karim Benzema (Olympique Lyon) – Linked with Arsenal and Manchester United

Benzema is the hottest property in France at the moment. The 20-year-old is the top scorer in the French league where he has already landed 3 titles, fuelling the argument that he is keen for a new challenge. Apparently Benzema has a big fan in Arsene Wenger. The striker proved his ability at the highest stage when he netted against Man United in the Champions League earlier this year. Sure to be a big star, but he may decide to stay at Lyon a little longer.

Hatem Ben Arfa (Olympique Lyon) – Linked with Arsenal

Another one of Lyon’s gems, Ben Arfa is a very intelligent winger who, like Benzema, is said to be a potential target for Wenger. The 21-year-old has broken into the full national set-up and has already shown what he can do for his country. Again like Karim, it seems that ruling the roost in France may be getting a little repetitive and a move away from the Stade Gerland seems more than likely.

Daniel Alves (Sevilla) – Linked with Tottenham and Chelsea

Highly rated wide-man, effective in defence and attack, Brazilian Daniel Alves has been on Chelsea’s radar for some time now. Following Juande Ramos’s move to White Hart Lane, Sevilla have slipped from being within 90 minutes of a potential La Liga title to being 20+ pts from top spot. It seems very likely the set piece specialist will leave but the problem could be the somewhat over-inflated fee that the Spanish club are after.

Ricardo Quaresma (Porto) – Linked with Liverpool and Arsenal

The 24-year-old winger was all the talk last summer, being strongly linked with Liverpool but nothing seemed to come of the incessant speculation. Now that Porto appear to be the subject of a match-fixing enquiry, the move away from Portugal could be back on, and apparently due to these investigations players may be leaving for a fraction of their true value!

Lionel Messi (Barcelona) – Linked with Chelsea and Manchester United

Commonly considered one of the best five players in the world today, Messi’s performances this season seem to be the one bright spark emanating from Frank Rijkaard’s side this season. The Argentinean seems to be another player targeted by the megabucks clubs of England. Could he really leave the Catalan club, though? Still only 20 but already has a ton-plus appearances for the La Liga giants, could he be about to move ailing Barca?

Thierry Henry (Barcelona) – Linked with Arsenal

Something of a fallen legend, Henry hasn’t been on song since he left the Emirates. A succession of niggling injuries and a loss of form has taken its toll on the Frenchman and this has led to speculation about a return to the Premier League. Surely if he was ever to come back it could only be to his former home - he has admitted as much in interviews. If he was back on the market it would lead to a bidding frenzy as a player's talent doesn’t vanish overnight!

How many of these players will be plying their trade in England next season? Post a comment below or, if you prefer, write an article for Sportingo

As an Arsenal fan i would love to see Ben Arfa sign
George (08/05/2008 20:03)
It does seem like Barcelona are going to implode, it's open season on their top class talent. As a Spurs fan i would be chuffed if we got Eto'o but i would obviously settle for David Villa!
Nick (08/05/2008 20:04)
It seems everybody is linked to Arsenal but their destination will be somewhere else. I believe everybody wants to play for Arsenal and Arsene Wenger. David Villa (Valencia) – May be Liverpool Klaas Jan Huntelaar (Ajax) – May be Manchester United Samuel Eto’o (Barcelona) – May be Tottenham He is gone past his best anyways. Saw him against Manu both games Ronaldinho (Barcelona) – May be Manchester City Karim Benzema (Olympique Lyon) – May be Manchester United Hatem Ben Arfa (Olympique Lyon) – May be in France somewhere else (Marseille). Daniel Alves (Sevilla) – May be Chelsea Ricardo Quaresma (Porto) – May be Liverpool Lionel Messi (Barcelona) – No where. He is the best player in the world and he plays for the second best attractive team in the World - Arsenal being first. Thierry Henry (Barcelona) – May be he will RETIRE. PLEASE COME BACK AS A SUPPORTER NOT AS A PLAYER.
James Smith (08/05/2008 20:05)
I have heard through close family who works within Liverpool that Gillet will sell 49% of his share to DIC within the next four weeks, Tom hicks will have the 51% majority votes. Rafa's targets for the summer are Barry, Bentley, Henry, Alves and also a wisper of Joe Cole being close. I can assure you that this is from a top source.....!
Joseph (08/05/2008 20:06)
I'am fully confident that none of the above will be plying their trade in the Prem next season. Villa is going to R.Madrid Huntelaar, Eto'o and Ronaldinho will be going to Italy(if they move at all) Benzema and Ben Arfa are staying put, and that is well documented. Alves and Quaresma will still be playing for their clubs next term, Messi is simply crazy(English clubs never buy the best in the world when they are at their peak) and Henry is another who will stay on the continent.
James (08/05/2008 20:14)
Joe you are talking pap! Yes some won't be applying there trade but I assure you that Liverpool will have at least three of the 5 I stated and DIC will take over Gillets stake. Rafa is already pushing forward with his targets and as soon as the season finishes he will be all over them like a rash! expect them to be in before the Euro Trash comp.
david howlett (08/05/2008 20:15)
to Nick, why do you need to add "past his best " next to Eto? is that the green eyed monster rearing its ugly head!!!
weird (08/05/2008 20:25)
itz funni how most of the players named r soo not cumin to da premier league .. maybe except henry, Klaas Jan Huntelaar
Mikel hamers (08/05/2008 20:38)
thats not david villa on the picture :P thats david silva
stelvis Savva (08/05/2008 20:47)
i understand the importance of strikers especially if berba leaves, but we need a decent center back thats not gonna get injured for half a season, a left sided winger, and a keeper of some quality. i say vincent kompany(CB) CARLOS KAMENI(GKP) left wingers are hard to come by. any realistic suggestions?
eddie walker (08/05/2008 21:06)
Ithink Liverpool are more likely to sign the players the evertonian(bitter) stated Bentley Cole Barry and Alves add to that a big centre forward Jones or Santa Cruz and possibly Thierry
james turner (08/05/2008 21:33)
there is no way on earth that henry would sign 4 the scousers! It is arsenal or nothing.
Amin Zarbafi (08/05/2008 21:35)
why in god name would 'everyone' want to play for arsenal?? Nick im talking to you here. u have won nada in 3 years! thats a long time. i agree u play good football. but footballers want success and arsenal seem to be alggin behind chelsea, man utd and liverpool recently when it comes to trophies. actually tottenham have won more stuff than u in the last 3 years. i think u maybe thinking to highly about ur team and not realistic enough. ur a good team but ur not in the league of man u or real or barcelona or even ac milan....they still have more pulling power
Mo (08/05/2008 22:17)
Amin Zarbafaf whatever ur name is.. please dont talk shit like spurs have won more than us cos i think the scummiest spurs fan won swap that milk cup for a champs league place any day of the week, let alone we came 14 mins from being european champions! & as far as being so behind chelsea & liverpool...we were top for 6 of the 8 league months how far behind CAN we be exactly..we threw it away this year if we didnt implode we wouldve won the title with the luxury of letting them beat us in the head to head's! as far as pulling power goes i believe the vast number of players there always want to go to the most attractive teams which is why always arsenal & man united are mentioned...but wenger just never bothers with buying stars...he makes them! oh & btw let united & chelsea spend 100 M a year to win their league titles...when they're bankrupt or having to sell or the market goes back on the slide i wonder whos gonna be the only club with balanced books....exactly...wengers policy is not just for the arsenal of now..but the the future of arsenal as well! he's truly a one off
Amin zarbafi (08/05/2008 22:52)
first of all my name is amin zarbafi....hence why i put it in the name column. Andf im not talking shit. im talking facts. and as much as it may embarass ur huge unjustified ego...sadly scummy spurs haev won more than u in the last 3 years. thats a fact Mo. not shit.FACT. yes u got to the final of the european cup......but did u win it? no. Will anyone remember it? only arsenal fans. Everyone else will remember the winners. and what does '&amp' mean exactly?? yes u were top of the league...and when u were i bet 100 quid with my mat6e that u will lose it. and u did. why? lack of squad depth.....mainly in defence. anyway my point is u dont have the pulling power that u think u do. hence why u develop players and then sell them on when they get too big for uarsenal is a great business.....probably the best in england. but right now u dont have the pulling power that chelsea or man utd or liverpool do and thats mainly down to a lack of recent success as well as lack of funds due to the new staduim....although u will be reaping the rewards once its opaid off
Michael Carter (08/05/2008 23:23)
If Arsenal want to win Cups then we NEED David Villa

Mo (08/05/2008 23:38)
Amin, what the hell's my ego wgot to do with this?!? if ur telling me winning the milk cup acounts for ANYTHING at the top level then ur living a dream...hence y we play our kids on it etc...any club with ambition knows champs league is priority...& would swap a place anyday for a milk cup or even an fa cup..the champs league money & status is where its at...end of! yes winning counts but only the league & europe...2 seasons when we just won the fa cup STILL felt like overall dissapointment cos we missed out in the league...it didnt account for nothing comsidering what our teams were capable of! as far as pulling power, liverpool have the history...but apart from a recent champs league havent won a title in 2 decades...chelsea..they'll attract the money hungry...theyre at the top but are not being run or functioning like a proper club! the purists who arent after just money always want to go to united or arsenal ive never seen a player in the paper himself just randomly say he would love to play or chelsea or even liverpool(sorry but true scousers) we got the stadium, the manager, & the bedrock of players to win major honours & let united spend another 50 mill & chelsea 50mill..they cant spend forever at this rate no matter what income they generate. What goes up must come down..what happens if roman gets bored & decides find himself a new toy, united are in twice the debt we are so i truly believe out of the top 4 we are in the best position as a total club! just look at the others...liverpool board is a joke..who knows who'll be in charge & what their vision for the club will be..will he like rafa etc, would prob have an over haul of players chelsea style to compete realistically for the title, & i already mentioned how chelsea's run like a MESS & united's got serious debt
Mo momo1705@googlemail.com (08/05/2008 23:43)
excuse my keyboard! just venting some frustration with the crap being said....no arsenal dont need villa we got 3 top strikers & a promising bendtner 9 golas in 16 starts debut top flight season, also theo's ever improving next season, we need players at cb, a winger maybe, wenger said a creative player which if a CM player is good news as cesc needs a top back up to life burden off his shoulders! but we dont need a striker at all(hoping RVP dont suffer 6 months out again)
Kenny Johnson (09/05/2008 00:39)
Oh Well, Here comes the soppy season once again..... I think it's only right to look at alternatives. Berbie is class, but the reality of him being a Spurs player next season is highly unlikely, so we need to move on.Anyone who can shine and play alongside the Masterclass that is Robbie Keane will be a bonus.Darren Bent, was never the player his pricetag suggested, so the value of his signiture would have nosedived and more than halved. On a positive, we will more than double our money on Berbatov and have enough dead wood around the club, that should get off loaded in the Summer. Luka Modric, was a truly fantastic bit of business, outstanding prospect, who is strong in the tackle with the added bonus of being a good ball player and shows Ramos's intentions for next season. An established Centre Half would definately be on the must have list. One thing for sure is that Spurs will buy big during the break. Ramos will want 'His' team in place come August, especially if his ambitions to crash the party on the Top Four is to materialise. Tottenham have the financial muscle to spent and I feel the Club record will go again before the opener next season. If we had another Robbie Keane our wishes would be forefilled.

Spurs, the biggest overated team in epl, why their is in the article is a mystery to me
Rass Henry (09/05/2008 05:34)
Arsenal, really need a good quality striker. We are playing some breathtaking football world ever seen, without doubt. We are creating more chances then any other team but the statistic on goal scored we are way behind any other top teams, why ?? We does not posses a quality or reliable striker's upfront. Adebayour is a waste, as this guy has been wasted too many easy goalscoring chances, his first touch is fucking poor, got no skills or guts to take on defenders, no body stability, cannot link play as he is too arrogant, can't even make good pass, lack of pace & determination as well. Robin is made of toilet tissue paper, this guy is too soft & injury prone as we cannot rely on him anymore. Bendtner is way to poor for big club like Arsenal as he is fit for bottom half teams. Eduardo is good but out injured. Walcott is damn good but he needs more game time. Poor striker's is the cost of our slump. We really need some qualit, experience, powerfull, skillfull, reliable, composed, strong & consistence striker's to replace Adebayour & Robin a our main upfront man. We need Karim Benzema & Thierry Henry combination of young & experiience, as this strikeforce can the most deadliest strikeforce ever seen in BPL or Europe. In midfield we need Ben Arfa & Quaresma to replace injury prone Rosicky & Hleb, who are leaving for Inter Milan. Gilberto can partner Febregas in the heart of our midfield. In defence we need Micah Richards to replace useless Gallas as a partner for Kalou Toure. Gallas has messed up our defence totally as well as Toure's game. In goal Almunia is perfect & Fabianski can be his quality backup. Total useless player's to be offloaded are, Adebayour, Robin, Bendtner, Rosicky, Diaby, Gallas, Sanderos & Hoyte to make some cash, in order to buy those quality player's as suggested above. My prefered team for 208/2009 season with new numbering. 1. Almunia - GK 3. Sagna - RB 5. Toure (c) - CB 6. Richards - CB 2. Clichy - LB 7. Quaresma - RM 19. Gilberto - DM 4. Febregas - AM 8. Ben Arfa - LM 10. Benzema - S 14. Henry - S Supersubs : 21. Fabianski - GK 17. Ebue - RB 20. Djourou - CB 23. Nordveit - CB 22. Traore - LB 15. Denilson - RM 16. Song - DM 13. Merida - AM 12. Vela - LM 11. Walcott - S 9. Eduardo - S This is what you call a mixture of young & experience team to compete accordingly in Europe & BPL. All this player have to compete for first team appearence as only the best will get a chance. This will make way for Wenger to choose & bring fired up player's for every game, respectively. In our bench we will have quality player's to change the game off when needed, without doubt. Cheers :)

Total useless player's to be offloaded are, Adebayour, Robin, Bendtner, Rosicky, Diaby, Gallas, Sanderos & Hoyte – This is not championship manager, the players you mention all played a part in a soon to be 83 point season. You cannot simply sell all your players like on the computer and then buy new ones you have to build first and then you can sell later, no will join us if they think they are joining a sinking ship with no ambition. What Arsenal need in my opinion is an exciting signature in the wake of Flamini’s depature and the rumours surrounding Hleb, a positive move forward but this will not happen for a few more weeks until the season is prperly over and players return after their short holidays before selections for the Euros, so until then Arsebal supporters we will have to wait and endure the annual post season rumours, you know the ones:- Adebayor to Milan, Fabrgas to Madrid, Rosicky to Bayern, Gilberto to Juve or Inter and (LOL) Hoyte to Aston Villa. Though would love to see Michael Owen sign for Arsenal on a free transfer.

arse whinger (09/05/2008 12:11)
arsenal in the future? been hearin this crap for years avaerage age of the team is about 25 so its not really that young... any team could be great in the future with the right funding!!!
mi 6 (09/05/2008 12:23)
i've heard from a very reliable source that, - manu trying to arrange a swap+cash(13m) deal with barcelona for samuel eto'o, with louis saha off to the nou camp. - joe cole is currently seriously considering offers (from england and abroad). - barcelona made a secret 22m offer for fabregas which was turned down (arsenal only willing to sell at 35m). - darren bent off to newcastle soon (martins off to man city)
Scotty B (09/05/2008 12:53)
Whinger makes a valid point. Liverpool are the youngest team in the top 4. Not Arsenal. I did a quick calculation when the 2 teams met in the CL and Liverpool's line-up had an average age of 24 as opposed to Arsenal's 25. You'll still hear Arsenal go on about how young they are and how they have a great future though! I agree that they do but having a great future is different to actually making it happen.

Where do you get your info from, Henry just signed a new contract with Barcelona, Messi will not leave Camp Nou. And so on....

Im getting bored of this now, truly i am,every year its the same old thing off arsenal fnas laughing at us saying their better bcos theve been in a 'final' or in the top 4, its a joke!! if you remeber,2seasons ago you just beat us in to the top 4, when we held that postion for the whole season, but we dont complain and kick up a stink even tho their was certain things said about food posining, yes you beat us, well done... then last year we finished fifth, and are arguably the 'best of the rest' in the league even if weve had a more than poor season regarding the league!! but you cant deny the size of tottenham, their abition or their financial muscle and ramos does look something els hes come in and turned it around and personally i hope arsenal do win some thing so itl keep them happy for the next 5years....... bless. and as far as arsenal being an attractive club, one of the most attractive in europe, u name any top players form top sides an im talking even the likes of your marseilles' tottenham, villareal, munichs etc etc.. theyd get up an leave for arsenal? when they cant even keep hold of their so called stars? hleb, flamini? will fabregas be their next season? hm.. i just get wound up byu the egos of arsenal when they havnt got anything tyo justify their egos!!!
jenna q (09/05/2008 14:18)
as a gunner i'm seriously starting to get concerned. reality check... all we get with aw is "hope" and i'm sick of it! we may play attractive football, but we haven't won anything for almost 4 years! our defense is moody and inconsistent, while our attackers are so egotistical they think they have a devine right to walk the ball into the net sometimes. (somebody take a shot dammit!). we were winners under aw when true winners like campbell, keown, viera, bergkamp, pires, henry, etc. were strutting their stuff, but will we ever be able to attract stars like that again? aw wants us to believe he can develop winners from relatively unknown youngsters, but that doesn't happen often (no matter how good a manager is). i think we have possibly great players in fab, ade and eduardo, but i don't think the rest are good or consistent enough to win another epl or a ecl. do some smart buy wenger... even if it means spending a bit more... please!
donvan naidoo (09/05/2008 14:45)
all of these transfer are never going to surface.forget it
v n (09/05/2008 15:05)
most of the player that have been link to arsenal and tottenham are to expensive for either of them. the only way tottenham could afford one of these players is if the sell berba and the only way arsenal could afford one of these players is they get a good transfere fee for hleb and if wenger decides to spend the henry transfer money
7 Sparkler (09/05/2008 15:31)
Some of the players on that list like Benzema n Messi are brilliant players, its just that they are attached to their leagues at the moment. As Ronaldinho and Henry, they are overrated players at present, i mean, they're great players, but they won't be able to keep up with the pace of the Premier League. Hope to see some new faces when the new season begins. :)
david goldbergschmit (09/05/2008 16:13)
Why are spurs in this list. Makes the whole artcle pointless, might as well have wigan in there.
Michael A. (09/05/2008 18:01)
Yeah you want Diego Capel from sevilla. He's the best young out-and-out left-winger in the world right now, and his release clause is around 10million. You may also want want Villa to replace Berbatov but that is unrealistic as he is going to R.Madrid or Barca, expect to seeeither Eto'o Or D.Milito there next year.
martin mck (09/05/2008 18:09)
I would love to know where Mark, gets all his info linking this player and that player with each club? Too much time on his hands, if you ask me! Should be out meeting the ladies or boys or whoever tickles his fancy? Why not debate proper footballing issues like the off side rule( or rather lack of it!)or the cost of ticket prices( do you go to the games,MARK?) Maybe the champions league final,fa cup final, play offs or euro might be worth debating, what you think? The clubs with the biggest wallets, get the best players, plain and simple,no need to write a thousand word article or have a degree in sports science to work that one out!
(09/05/2008 19:07)
How funny it is seeing people so pissed off for seeing Spurs there as club with the potential to attract world class players, well get over it they have attracted one of the worlds most sort after managers and secured the signing of one of Europes most sort after midfielders, so get over it!!!!!!
three point lane (09/05/2008 19:14)
uhm, you either have to be mentally retarted, or just incredibly ignorant and childish to claim that spurs have enjoyed a better season than arsenal or liverpool or even everton/villa for that matter. I garauntee you that any spurs player or manager would take a top 4 finish any day over some reserve team diddy mickey mouse tea-cup we have come to call the Carling Cup. Ur wrong in saying that noknown will remember that arsenal reached the Champ League final, but every1 will remember how the spurs first team triumphed over countless reserve squads to nick the Carling Cup from Chelsea? Seems like every spurs fan out there is blind to see that his team have greatly underachieved this season, and that the Carling Cup victory has done more damage than good in their campaign to seal a decent stop in the league. Trust, the league cup means nothing, NOTHING, in terms of revenue, historical importance, achievement... even we United fans were a tad bit embarrased to have won it and f* all couple years back.. so before you go running back to the 3-point lane boasting to your mates about what a great coach Ramos is or how special spurs is to have signed Modric, just remember, for as long as you live, spurs will never even come close to contending with any of the top 4. Mark my words you underachieving ignorant yids.
Shane (09/05/2008 20:24)
Are you an idiot? Mark is not the one linking these players to those clubs, these links have been in just about every newspaper on the planet!
(09/05/2008 20:37)
Erm to the so called Utd supporter that is probably from Kent! A successfull season is about winning things, in my book finishing 2nd or 3rd for a so called big club is a failure, yes the Carling Cup isnt the biggest domestic trophy, but in my eyes its better than being a runner up (loser) in another competition, just like United could be this season and had Chelsea not had such bad luck with injuries, would definately be, so dont be so deluded, your team got through to the CL final with pure luck against Barca who were by far the better team!!!!
Chris B (09/05/2008 20:59)
Having read some Arsenal fans responses above. You are going to struggle to sign big name players because you haven't won anything in 3 years, Henry left last year, now Falimini & Helb are off. What does that say to you guys? You'll be scraping about with Spurs, Villa, Everton etc looking for players. You may have Champions league Football as bait, but Spurs have the capital to pay over the odds in transfer fee's and wages. You need to pay off that stadium and until you do, funds will be slim. I am the 1st person to say Spurs need a clear out, maybe only keeping 6 players from last season. But Arsenal seem to be in denial. If Arsenal don't buy... they concede their Champions League spot and more of their status is lost.
Chris B (09/05/2008 21:08)
I also will add to you Man Utd fans who have the normal norther bigotry going on... Man Utd will take the Premiership. They have played the most exciting, attractive football this season. But Chelsea will take the Champions League, their form has improved in recent weeks and they are mentally tough and know how to win. I think the whole premier league owes a huge debt to them, with Abramovic's spending over the past few seasons, the big names we see here today would not be here, they raised the profile of our league and the standard. Their impact on domestic football is largely underestimated.
Luke Best (10/05/2008 02:34)
Ive read all comments on site about Arsenal and i think there some crazy and good stuff. So GK i think we have Alumiua nom 1 keeper with Fabiaski back up and dont need 2 sign cause we have Vito Mannone who a great talent. Defence Arsenal's Back 4 are the best personally but arsenal always have long term injuries mainly at the back so should bring in 1 player called Kompany who currently at HSV. Now midfielders arsenal have outstanding mixture of talent in mid with flamini gone need spare centre mid and should sign Yaya Toure i seen him play he likes playin low passing so i think Arsene Wenger on his back he will settle in arsenal play also we have Fran Merida and Carlos Vela coming back from loan spells but Carlos Vela also is Striker. Striker shorted we have bendtner, adebayor, van persie, eduardo, vela and walcott so need no back up my team next season is : Alumiua GK Sagna RB Toure CB Gallas CB Clichy LB Rosicky LM Fabregas CM Yaya Toure CM Hleb RM Adebayor LF Van Persie RF Subs: Vela, Walcott, Eduardo, Senderos, Merida, Bendtner, Fabiaski, Gilberto, Denilson, Djourau,Hoyte and Kompany

If u lot down south want a bargain try boruc or celtic and mcgeady as well, maybe even brown from same team. 10 million each and really good players at ages were they can be sold on. Id swap any one for robbie keane

If I was United manager id sell Park (complete donkey), Eagles, Kuszack and Dong to add to the 40 million we already have to spend. Then sign Santacroce (massive talent), De Silvestri (same), McGeady (has potential) and Benzema. All young, bags of potential and would leave United in a great-er position.
