Can Bristol City glory boy Trundle make it in the Premier League at 32?
The Everton-mad striker's extra-time strike against Palace has earned the Robins a play-off final place at Wembley. And there's nothing he'd like more than to be up there alongside his beloved Toffees in the top flight...

I first heard about Lee Trundle when he started playing for Wrexham in the lower divisions of the Football League. I supported the minnows as my second team as I had a few family members living there and always hoped they would become a big club.
Unfortunately this season has been Wrexham's worst and they could have done with Trundle's goalscoring ability during a miserable campaign which has seen them relegated to the Blue Square Conference. What a pity for the former FA Cup giantkillers, but at least Trundle escaped to better things and maybe now he is finally fit for the Premier League.
The Liverpool-born hitman had a great start to his career with the North Wales club although it was somewhat late in life for a footballer to emerge in his mid-20s! He scored an abundance of goals for Wrexham during the three seasons he spent at the Racecourse ground. He also gained good experience and learnt quickly from manager Brian Flynn. Trundle had a hard-work ethic which he will need to continue if he gets the chance of Premier League football at his current club, Bristol City. The player was and is still is destined for even greater things.
When Flynn moved to Swansea, he took his star player with him and Trundle began his rise up the league ladder. The Swans had ambition and Lee would be part of it. He scored many a great goal and became a cult hero at the club, scoring more than 70 goals in little over 100 matches. He even got himself a celebrity WAG in the form of Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon (who like Lee is a keen Everton fan) - and was surely now destined for the Premier League! He had the goals and the pop star girlfriend - David Beckham eat your heart out!
