1 Gianfranco Zola, Marcel Desailly and Ruud Gullit were playing in the present-day Chelsea team. In place of who?
2 Robbie Fowler in his heyday was playing alongside Ian Rush and Fernando Torres - with Steven Gerrard placing the perfect pass. That would be brilliant, wouldn't it? John Barnes and Steve McManaman also in the middle of the park. At the back would be Sami Hyypia with Jamie Carragher even make Liverpool's best Premier League team? Unfortunately I ain't old enough to remember Liverpool winning the top division, which we took for our own for many a year.
3 Who would you include for Arsenal? Thierry Henry, Wrighty, Dennis Bergkamp, Marc Overmars, Cesc Fabregas, Patrick Vieira - with Tony Adams and Lee Dixon defending brillantly? And David Seaman making the telling save (when required!)
4 As for Blackburn's team which won the Premier League in 1995, I can only remember Alan Shearer, Tim Sherwood, Tim Flowers (he did play with you, didn't he?) and Chris Sutton. How about them playing with David Bentley, Morten Gamst Pedersen and Tugay?
Or would Manchester United's Paul Scholes, Teddy Sheringham, Ryan Giggs, Peter Schmeichel, Dwight Yorke, Roy Keane and Andy Cole outplay and out-think the opposition every time? With the flair of Cristiano Ronaldo and Eric Cantona! Need some defenders in the team? Keane was good but not THAT good! Gary Pallister and Nemanja Vidic? Steve Bruce and Rio Ferdinand? The Neville brothers?
So who would be in your team's all-time Premier League XI?
