If Manchester City are successful in signing Ronaldinho it could see them become a major force in the Premier League next season. They would have an extremely strong team from front to back with a well-respected manager in Mark Hughes at the helm.
With Joe Hart between the sticks they have the next England goalkeeper, while Micah Richards, Richard Dunne and Nedum Onuoha are as solid as you will find in any defence.
Ronaldinho, allied to the young and rapidly emerging talent of Michael Johnson and the rest, gives them a creative and exciting midfield and, if Jo can deliver the goals alongside Benjani, then a European place - and maybe even one in the Champions League - is not beyond the men from Eastlands.
And before my critics start howling again, no I have not lost my marbles or gone soft. The mighty Man United are hopefully going to sign Dimitar Berbatov to bolster our squad and give me one of the four on my wish list - Andrei Arshavin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and David Bentley being the others. I suppose we could do with an understudy goalie too and maybe a defender and, go on then, Fernando Torres, but I won't be too greedy!
Anyway, City will give Big Phil Scolari at Chelsea and the other top teams - Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool - a real run for their money. And watch out for Tottenham too if Juande Ramos fills his squad with the names he is chasing.
I'll go for Chelsea to win the title, Inter to take the Champions League crown, Wayne Rooney to finish as the Premier League's top scorer and Leeds United to start the move back towards the Premier League.
And what of Ronaldo I hear you ask? Quite frankly, who cares? Maybe that Los Angeles outfit that Beckham is with might sign him and put him on the other wing. Then all he needs to do is find a thin, egotistical bird like Posh to form a real comparative duo in Celluloid City!

Ronaldinho is a has been now. The only reason Manchester City owner wants him is to promote shirt sales. He is a fat waster now.

I remember Spurs supposedly getting in the top four last season as Arsenal would be nothing without Henry. Didn't happen did it? The top four are currently miles ahead of the rest. City will not change over night, spurs will not sign all their targets and even if they do they will not push the top four and Man United, like everyone else have to sell to buy so will not sign your wish list. Same top three as last year, hopefully in a different order.

The only team who can get into the top 4 is Everton FC.

He WAS a good player, but even at his peak he was a big game bottler. Should Man City get anywhere near the summit of the Premiership Ronnie would die of vertigo!
