Lee Bowyer of West Ham United

West Ham United FC v Blackburn Rovers FC

Saturday 30 Aug 15:00 (GMT 14:00)
Following an opening day win over Wigan, West Ham lost to Manchester City 3-0 last Sunday and now the pressure is firmly on Alan Curbishley. The bookies have had the former Charlton manager down as favourite for the sack and the disappointing defeat at Eastlands has only increased the pressure. New Blackburn manager Paul Ince will be the main focus of this match as he returns to Upton Park, whose supporters have not forgotten the acrimonious way he left the club twenty years ago. Blackburn have had a decent start to the season and will be no pushovers for any team in the Premier League.
