Chelsea FC v Tottenham Hotspur FC

Sunday 31 Aug 13:30 (GMT 12:30)
Two clubs at opposite ends of the table meet at Stamford Bridge and many of the Chelsea players will be looking for revenge for the Carling Cup defeat at Wembley last February. Luiz Felipe Scolari's reign as Chelsea boss has begun with two wins and already there are signs that Chelsea will be a force in the Premier League this season. With the quality of their players combined with the determination that they need to win some silverware this season, the Blues could be unstoppable. Spurs have lost both their opening games and the Dimitar Berbatov saga has left them in a sorry state with only one recognised striker in Darren Bent.
