Sportbuzz Competition Terms and Conditions


1. These terms and conditions are the Competition Rules ('Rules') and apply to competitions included on the www.sportingo.com website. By entering a competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.

2. Sportbuzz may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or these terms and conditions prior to the cessation of the promotion for any reason, including but not limited to technical reasons such as computer viruses, bugs, tampering or technical failures.

3. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, the judge's decision will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Qualifying Entrants

4. Entry is only open to persons aged over 18.

5. The winner will be required to hold a passport or Visa that allows entry into France and the UK.

6. By entering the Competition, the entrant hereby warrants that all articles submitted are original works and have been written by the entrant him/her self. In addition, the entrant hereby warrants that all personal details submitted are true, current and complete.

7. Sportbuzz reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

8. Sportbuzz reserves the right to contact any entrant to confirm his/her suitability for representing Sportbuzz as a reporter at the event

9. Entry is not open to employees and families of employees of Sportbuzz, their agents or anyone connected with this competition.

Competition Entries

10. Valid entries for the competition need to be published on the Sportingo website from 00:00 on 15th July 2007 to 23:59 on 15th August 2007 GMT (Competition Period)

11. Entry is automatic for anybody who submits four (4) articles to Sportbuzz during the Competition Period. This includes the article written from a choice of subjects provided.

12. Sportbuzz does not accept responsibility for: (1) lost, late or undelivered entries, notifications or communications; (2) any technical, computer, online, telephone, cable, electronic, software, hardware, transmission, connection, Internet, website, or other access issue, failure, malfunction or difficulty that might hinder the ability of an entrant to enter the promotion; or (3) for any event which may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted. Entrants who attempt to tamper with code will be disqualified.

Prizes

13. First Prize – Press accreditation to the Rugby World Cup 2007 in France or the UK, including travel and hotel costs and $50 expenses per day. Dates to be defined by Sportbuzz

14. Prize winners will be chosen by Sportbuzz's team of editors and the results will be posted by the 20 of August, 2007. The winners will be selected by Sportbuzz staff based on originality, personal opinion, relevant sport knowledge and creativity of articles.

15. Prize winners will be notified by telephone and or email of their win. They may be required to complete and return a form by fax or post to Sportbuzz to confirm their eligibility within 48 hours (e.g. proof of age, residence). If a winner fails to collect their prize or confirm their postal address within the time stated or is found to be ineligible for any reason, a further winner will be selected in their place.

16. The winner of the first prize will be required to submit a daily report from the event covering match action, press conferences and interviews attended as well as any press related event. The winner will be required to attend matches, press conferences, communicate with Sportbuzz editors for required articles and be present at any event to which the press accreditation provides entry.

17. Sportbuzz reserves the right to request written proof of age of any winner.

18. Names of prize winners will be available from Sportbuzz within ten days of the relevant closing date.

19. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is available.

Liability

20. Sportbuzz cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Sportbuzz is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof.

21. Sportbuzz disclaims any liability for inaccurate information, whether caused by the website, users, equipment used in the promotion, or by human or technical errors related to the submission of entries.

Data Protection and Publicity

22. The winners will be deemed to consent to the use of their name, likeness and image for publicity and commercial purposes in connection with the promotion without further compensation.

23. The winners' names will be available on request from the marketing department of Sportbuzz at the address given below.

Jurisdiction

24. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter and all entrants irrevocably agree that the courts of Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
