As a rugby union fan, I think of football as a game for idiots and find it interesting that rugby, which is often described as a 'hooligan game played by gentlemen', is stereotyped as a game for and followed by boneheads.Well, is rugby a game of knuckle-draggers for boneheads? The father of William Webb Ellis wasn't stationed anywhere while William was at Rugby School. His father was dead, that's what prompted his mother to move to Rugby so that her children could get a free education at Rugby School
