The bullies of international rugby showed that although they're not the world champions of rugby union, they are the No.1 ranked team by clinically sweeping Six-Nations champions Wales away.Warren Gatland may be a proud New Zealander but that didn't matter on Saturday. Sparing the Welsh humiliation wasn't on Graham Henry's list as the All Blacks blitzed through what is probably the Home Nations' last dam wall or levy.Stalin-like, the All Blacks dominated with an iron-fist and their raw efficiency left many onlookers gasping in horror in the pub where I watched the game. The desperation of those chewing their nails to the quick for a Wales upset spilled over into booing which, to me, was out of line and in poor taste. But alas, hate makes the All Blacks great, or greater and Daniel Carter and the lads sucked up all the negativity to fuel their juggernauts steam-rollering through the home nations.A great Grand Slam (victory over England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland) seems like childs play this year for the mighty New Zealanders. With Scotland and Ireland already disposed of, Henry's men burst the Welsh levy in a fashion I'm sure England's Martin Johnson will recall from images of hurricane-stricken New Orleans.
U2 had a hit back then titled The Saints are Coming! and I find it ironic that with England standing at the gates of New Zealand's Grand Slam, it's the Saints we'll be shouting for to come marching in!
