1. No doubt the All Blacks have the best international record against all Test nations BUT they took 60 years to achieve this over the Springboks. The Boks won the first-ever series in New Zealand in 1937 and were only overtaken by Sean Fitzpatrick's All Blacks in 1997 in Pretoria. By my calculations, the ABs have got to stay ahead in Tests against the Boks for the next 49 years to equal our dominance over them.

2. The ABs have played in six World Cups and won one - in 1987. This was eight months after the Cavaliers were walloped 3-1 in South Africa in 1986.

3. The Boks have the BEST World Cup record - played four, won two -  and have the highest winning percentage of all games played in World Cup matches.

4. South Africa have won two out of the three matches against the All Blacks in World Cup games.

5. No doubt - the Boks play better in World Cup games than the All Blacks.

6. No doubt - the ABs are the most disappointing team in the World Cup.

And a seventh fact: Stuart Dickinson should be expelled from the refs’ board for not sin-binning Brad Thorn last weekend.

That is all - enjoy the Super 14 and Tri-Nations. We’ll take the World Cups!
