when will the rugby world stop New Zealand from turning the Southern Pacific islands into thier own private fifedom? All Blacks my foot. Half that team belongs somewhere else (Fiji, Tonga et al) take them away and there is nothing more than a pathetic bunch of white dribblers and drabblers. The IRB must stop this nonsense: we are being deprived of a decent set of competitors so that the AB ego can be fed.... or maybe we should dissolve the Home Unions and let England rule the roost in the North?????

SA will be the next great team and probably the best ever. SA will win all 4 matches in this year's tri nations and will go undefeated all season and win the world cup on a canter. The closest anybody will come to SA was today's score against the Aussies. This will serve as a wake up call and in all the rest of the matches this year SA will score a lot of tries. Also, the referees will be better that today. SA is a class apart from anybody else. We have the best wing in the world in Habana, the best scrumhalf in Fourie du Preez, the best lock pair in Bakkies and Matfield and the best back row in Schalk Burger, Piere Spies and Juan Smith. Francois Steyn is already better or equal to a Daniel Carter and R McCaww and every single All Black is very overrated. South Africa's players are much much better than their All Black counterparts. The world will wake up and realise that this year. I know my rugby sirs!

I keep hearing this time after time & who knows when it comes down to PRESSURE in the RWC. However, if SA have such a world class back row, the best locks in the world, the biggest props, an all singing all dancing 1/2 back, a class mid field, best wing blah, blah, blah - how come they didn't win the last Tri nations. Why could they only scrape a win last Saturday against Oz ( rated 5th? in the world )by 3 whole points on their own dung hill. Their track record doesn't suggest a RWC win & it doesn't stand up against the AB's over the last 2 years or so. Who has put 40 odd points v France away from home or - funnily enough a similar margin agianst SA away - last year? Ok, SA beat the AB's by 6 points after that, but the competition was all over by then; & it was only by 6. Pundits keeps talking about the hear & now & what would be,could be, should be, might be etc, etc but there's nothing to back this up - apart perhaps from the need to justify column inches, or hot air time. 1 home win & the Boks will win th

New Zealand have always been the best team in between World Cups, no one is disputing that, but they do have a habit of throwing it away - you even mentioned PRESSURE yourself. There have been signs that the ABs are a waning force again.

Hear we go again. You must be English?! and have invented the cliche.I'v e never heard this one b4. After a 1000 times it's only marginally less interesting ... & smacks of a whiff of sour grapeshot?! NZ have always been there or there abouts and anyway only Oz have won the RWC twice. Does that mean everyone else peaks between Cups too? What signs ? By still winning their games. Be specific ie put up or shut up.

Regards chs's - wot's this stand for anyway? 'can hide safely'? - article 16/6. Clanging pots & pans drowned out concorde landing on my eardrums. Perhaps he should check where 'et al' were actually born, he might be suprised. Esp as Catt, Freshwater, Abbott, V.Gisbergen, Stephens, Paul et all of 17 players not UK born have been picked by Engaland in recent past according to E.Std paper. McCaw, Carter, Kelleher, Jack, Woodcock 'dribblers & drabblers'? Yeah, right. Get rid of the chip mate. Get a life!

Reply to Michael = That makes me laugh. While SA is a great team to say they are the greatest ever is a long shot. Good luck on winning all four tri nations = when was the last time the Boks won in NZ again? No way Steyn is on Carter's level AT ALL, hes the best player in the world for a reason. Sure Steyn is good at drop goals, but one good performance does not qualify him as equal with Carter, who has been to top flyhalf in the world since 04. As for the comment about Dribbers and Dr
drabbers. What planet are you on? Its not so much where you were born, but where you hone your craft. May i remind you that my favourite all time ever Springbok, Mr Corne Krige, was in fact a Zambian!

I think the as long as the Bokke can keep there minds on the game and concentrate and stop making silly mistakes like they did against the Aussies, the tri nations should be up for grabs. the lack of concentrion has always been a factor in the sprinboks camp and lets be honest we almost threw the game againt the ausses last week. And all bets were that the springboks were on a high and should have squashed the Aussies. If we do beat NW tomorrow (Bring on the World Cup) GO BOKKE!!!!!

Dear coach, we really panicked!! Dan Carter must concentrate on his aiming when kicking!!! He cost us 9 points!! that's unacceptable in a match of that calibre!!! Give McAlistair a chance to show his kicking at the next match!!! We had too many handling errors and our line-outs were pathetic! Concentrate on that please!!! We were really proud of our captain and the man of the match!! We look forward to an even better game next Saturday!!! Love All Black supporters from Oranjemund, Namibia! Viva the Blacks!!

Go All Blacks! They have proven to be the toughest team in rugby, having won the most international games in the history of ruggy! We'll see if they win the Tri-Nations this year after that outstanding but brutal game against the Boks yesterday :)

Where are ya? Where are ya? Response to chs; Not bad for a team containing 'dribblers & drabblers' eh? Have you emigrated to Fiji, or is it Tonga? You've gone a little quiet methinks. And Micheal; The 'over rated AB's' didn't do so badly turning over the 'next great team' in their own back yard, huh. Sorry, M. I still can't hear you. Lastly anonymous 'The Rugby Blog';My point about pressure was that it affects everyone, there're no guarantees in a one off comp. Why, maybe even you're feeling it a bit with your now slightly egg on the face comments about waning AB's. Have a nice day.

I am assuming the reason for posting such a poor point of view is to help get comments, because it has worked and by posting this I am not helping. It is a professional game now, but apart from Sivivatu the others in the All Black squad were schooled and brought up in NZ. There is no way even NZ administration could head hunt to that extent in the Islands back in the early 1990s to find primary school players with future talent? Give me a break. South Africa have some best world class players in Matfield, Du Preez,Habana and Burger, but they need to win away from home in October. I love these All Blacks Springboks tests!
