The game last night was a nightmare. We seemed in control until Hayman was sinbinned. We left the door ajar through such poor handling, missed tackles and penalties. I have never seen so many missed tackles from the All Blacks. I also think the scrums weren't dealt with very well, this frustrated me. We were cocky and tried to play like we finished against the Boks, neglecting the basics.

Let's hope this opens a door for the rest of us. I still think we need to play as we did for 80% of the tri-nations for the entire World Cup to have an outside shot. If we catch the Blacks, Aussies or Boks on one of our good days and we get the odd chink in armour as was apparent on Saturday we may well manage it. We are still dark horses and will need favours but good to see the Blacks lose one in this manner, even if it was the bloody Aussie

How can you read too much into the game? This AB team have lost 4 or 5 times in around 40 games. They don't lack skill or knowledge or fitness. They had a bad day, simple as that! They seemed to lack the final 10% of team commitment to pull forward and show us their normal AB game! For this team to suddenly turn into a monumental failure and start loosing tests regularly would seem highly improbable! Come World Cup the AB's will be there or there abouts!
