I doubt you could say that Joel Stransky was better than Merthens in 1995. He was magnificent, as were the all blacks, and the fact that they choked shouldn't detract from his performance.

Australia won't win coz knuckles is too conservative, South African politics will stuff them up, the poms are rubbish the French have no scrum. Give to the all blacks now and we can save ourselves the trouble of missing sleep during October. james hook has been the fly half that has impressed the most in the past 7 to 8 months, most names like wilko, larkham, have not played well, james hook damn well shoot down england in the six nations and made the aussies look weak. i think hook will shine brightest amongst the flyers
