2007 Rugby World Cup weekend clashes:

France v Ireland - 20:00, 21 September 2007
Clash of the titans as these two Five Nations rivals go head-to-head. France got their campaign back on track with a convincing victory over minnows Namibia, whereas Ireland scraped through against Georgia. France looks like the favourites, but the Irish are unpredictable and will be looking at securing a place in the quarters.

South Africa v Tonga - 13:00, 22 September 2007
South Africa have been playing consistently well throughout the World Cup and gave the English a big drumming, but Tonga is also able to upset the big names as they proved against Samoa. Tonga have their eyes set on a place in the quarters and will have to beat either South Africa or England.

England v Samoa - 15:00, 22 September 2007
England will be looking at regaining composure after they were sent reeling in their game against South Africa. They need to beat Samoa, as well as Tonga for a berth in the quarters. Samoa must win this one for a place in the quarters.

Scotland v New Zealand - 16:00, 23 September 2007
Scotland comes up against the best team in the world, and despite a few changes, the All Blacks are still lethal. Scotland’s coach will undoubtedly rest some of his key players looking towards the critical Italy match, but will want to put in a good performance against the All Blacks nevertheless.

Australia v Fiji - 13:30, 23 September 2007
Fiji can pose a tough challenge if they turn up in the right frame of mind. They are sometimes their own worst enemies in that regard. Early World Cup favourite Australia goes into the match without regular captain Mortlock, with Gregan taking over the reins. Australia will want to clinch a solid win to keep their momentum going en route to the Webb-Ellis trophy.
