Ireland couldn't beat the AB C's and got swamped by the B team. I think Ireland are playing to their potential at the moment. It is a shame that one of the Pacific Island nations was not included in their group.

Not a prayer. People are having a pop at Eddie for not making enough changes but I honestly do not think we have enough quality on the bench to sufficiently cover what is regarded as our starting 15. Compare that to the stronger sides and you will see they all have at least two full squads capable of doing the job. At least it will all be over Sunday evening and we can stop writing and talking about how pathetic we were in this World Cup. I think the French media have an awful lot to answer for too, their stories were without foundation and must be open to legal action. Granted they went along as neutrals to a lot of games ans shouted on the under dogs, particularly if they were playing one of the other 6 Nations sides but to personally attack our players is not acceptable. As I said, they will be out of the firing line come Monday morning
Stupid comment. Clearly performances in the past year and years leading up to this WC would suggest we are doing anything but playing to our potential. If you're going to be so childish and idiotic with your clearly incorrect comments then keep them to yourself.

As the only kiwi living in an Irish household I have to hope for the best for the green team this Sunday. Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great for Argentina to qualify top and stick two more big fingers up to the IRB. Just not against the team of my family! C'mon fellas. A very good team can't really become that bad in under six months?

Ireland are a huge puzzle - they are a well established team that should be competing for the top of their pool.

I'm just thinking - yes it is a bit of a shock to see Ireland perform so badly in the world cup thus far. However, were there already signs before? through the close losses and wins prior to the world cup. Were there already signs of internal conflict? or fatigue and overworked players? or poor selections? what say you irish fans?

this is still a very good ireland side, there was no fighting in the camp and it is just the british media hyping things up, murphy had stated that he never thought about leaving the camp, we still have world class players in the team and they to shine especially in the pack
