Hi guys, I just want to say you thank you for all your work in the RWC, you were really wonderfull and I have seen the rugby I love. I am french and I yet think you are the most amazing team of the world, I really wanted you to win the cup. Don't blame the team, don't blame your coach (he did an excellent job the last years, and I'll miss him), maybe you can blame the referee, but maybe the french were just better this time... I am really sorry for you, but I want you to know that you never disappointed your "fans" or your country. Captain Richie, you deserved your award of the best player in 2006, and you were also the best for me in 2007. We are behind you, and I am sure you will win the world cup (YOUR world cup) in four years. Please stay in New Zeland, you are an All Black, stay in this team, I am sure that you'll win in 2011. Don't be sad, you made a great job, you made a perfect year, you didn't deserved that, but we don't blame you and we still support you! Adeline, from Paris.

The problem is not with the coach. He has been great in all the positions he's had, and his record speaks for itself. The problem, I suggest, is with the NZ public who place huge pressure on their team to win. This I think makes their team fear failure. Once that happens, the fear blinds them from seeing the opportunity to succeed. The NZ team works hard but does not enjoy the tournament. Until NZ learns to enjoy the tournament they will find it difficult to win it.

Sorry to see the Black sgo down against the French. I was never that impressed with Henry when he was the Lions coach and I had a feeling that he would lead the Blacks into a disiater. I am pretty sure, & I am English, that we would have been crunched next week. The French are mercurial and full of surprises. I am amazed that they won.

if it was anyones fault i would blame mccaw, he should of went for the drop goal, everyother team does it, you would of one but of course you were greedy and then opted for it on the half way line

Fault?? maybe the media for the hype, the TV networks for all the adds, maybe if the all blacks spent more time with a ball in hand rather than posing on every add on tv and less time worrying about image haircuts and their pockets we might of had a different outcome. I think Ali Williams sumed it up in one of the interviews stating he plays firstly for his family and friends, hey this is a national team not the yankees or man U you play for pride and your country maybe they forgot that, but hey dont worry they still get paid stil fly first class and stay in 5 star hotels. Its a far cry from the amateurs in 87.

The best rugby team in the World has returned to it's country a little earlier than expected. Unfortunately their exit from the 2007 World cup arena was at the expense of the better team on the day. The French played a game that no plan can counter. They played the game of unpredictability and flair. That is what Fench rugby is. The All Blacks didn't have a plan for this strategy and I hope the next team that enters the competition next time is prepared for this. It's not easy to coach but if the coach has the right team of people and combinations with him they will succeed again on the biggest stage of the Rugby arena.

Nick Evans should have been fullback and Conrad Smith should have been outside centre these 2 bring a bit of class to the side Leon McDonald is so overated its not funny how he even made the team after his performance in 2003 i cant understand and Muliana is nothing special. I cant wait to see the exodus after the next cup especially being played in NZ i wouldnt be surprised if the whole squad of 30 signs overseas contracts before its held.

How on earth was an English referee appointed this quarter final match knowing full well that the winner could be playing England. A neutral referee should have been appointed. France scored 17 points of poor decisions by Walsh - hardly a decisive victory by any length of the imagination. The IRB have once again shown how inept they are.

I agree with farcical - what's going on with the slection of officials and their incompetence. The match stats show the AB's clearly outplayed the French, despite all the stuff about team rotation, form, Henry's selections etc. France's points arose from an obvious forward pass, the dodgy sin-binning of the man of the match and being allowed to defend by putting hands in the ruck. Despite this, the win was there for the AB's if they (yes, the whole squad) had been well prepared in the psychological area eg how to stay calm in a crisis, communicate and execute a basic plan under pressure. In this task Henry clearly failed. Whether he should be sacked is a question for the future, not the past. I don't think England has anything to gloat about, they only scraped thru because Beavis narrowly missed a kick. Anyway, GO MELBOURNE REBELS!

Blaming the ref isn't an option. NZ have had their fare share of daft judegments passed their way over the years. Chokers seems to be the operative word here. Players that perform to a high standard most of the time, but when the going gets tough they choke. Sorry guys, you may think your the best in the world but stats tell a different story. Bon voyage and please keep Henry there.

It was my first time in New Zealand back in June, had a trip to the South Island, Dunedin to see my friend there. I never knew what rugby is all about, until i watched a game my friend got me. it was amazing seeing those big guys crashing into each other...fighting for the ball. And then came to my amusement, this one unique team from NZ,The All Blacks, they're known for their Haka and i just love to watch them do it before the game. its a different game than football. its really entertaining!!. I myself also felt devastated when the All Blacks were ousted by the french team, maybe they were not wearing their Black jersey...or otherwise. I wrote this because i'm behind the All Blacks all the time and i will not change my mind over other teams. When i say its black it will stay black all the way. cheers. let the 2011 World Cup be ours!! Waf Ally,Brunei

The ABs are undoubtedly the most gifted rugby players in the world (with South Africa close second). But that is less important than big match temperament and experience when it comes to winning in the world cup knock out stages. To make things worse, NZ have a tendency to fire people when they lose, so the experience is lost and they have to start again!

That's right Mike - you guys can be like England and fight for the Crown - and the winner also takes the song "King for just one Day" as their new anthem! Go All Blacks
