Pick players in there positions for a start and throw Leon McDonalds name on the scrapheap he is useless. I dont know why they were complaining about amount of rugby they playing top rugby league players average about 30-35 games a year, i believe they should scrap the tri nations in the world cup year as its a waste of time.

I think they should have focused on the task of winning a RWC -which is a KNOCKOUT EVENT: 1.Minimising risks 2.Applying pressure 3.Translating pressure into points. In other words be methodical. That means developing a sound strategy that the squad understands and believes in. Like you indicated, a kicking game might help. I refer to your second point (Establısh combınatıons). Stability and experience is crucial when the going gets tough. It was never a certainty for NZ to win the cup, but I'm sure they felt they had to. You can see how England have been liberated by their underdog status. Despite NZ's playing record, its still professional sport with player errors, injuries and referees etc. Proper psychological preparation would increase their chances of coping with a crisis -the All Blacks were up against it and to some extent the wheels fell off. You say to get rid of the rotation policy, but then you're first two points seem to encourage rotation. Which is it?
