Rumours: Huge Spurs target back on the cards
That's huge in terms of a Dutch goalie who stands almost six-foot-six in his socks ... here's one tall story that might just be true.

It seems that a long-time Tottenham target could well be moving nearer to becoming a Juande Ramos signing. Ajax’s towering six-foot-five-and-a-bit keeper Maarten Stekelenburg is continuing to stall on a new deal (Voetbal International).
The Dutch international has made noises that have led many to believe he will leave the Amsterdam Arena and his recent comments will have given the north London club hope of clinching his signature in the summer.
The 25-year-old goalie said, "I want to use all my energy for the last games. After that, we will see. I don't think the race for the championship is done yet."
At this point it should be stressed that his side is nine points behind current leaders PSV with just nine games to go. It seems from his comments that a move could well happen and his safe hands would surely be welcomed by Tottenham.

Is Robbo REALLY that bad??? Ok, he had a few nightmares on the big stage and the press have treated him with the same contempt they did to Jol! When Ramos first came, Robbo started to get his confidence back. I think he was getting back to his best form. Give him a break, he is a fine keeper overall.

im a goalkeeping coach (under 7's to under 15's) i still think robbo has a future at the lane, he has a couple of weaknesses judgemnt is one hand position is another these can easly be sorted but they seem to be overlooked as we have no proper goalkeeping coach

Cerny is ok but last week at Prague he was below par. Call back Super Robbo as he can kick a ball to the opposite goal area where Cerny gets just over halfway. What with the ballsup last week it shows that all goalies can make an error such as Tim Flowers, Nigel Martin, Brad Friedl, Jussi Jaskalinenenenene, Ian Walker to name a few. ROBBOs time now again.
