Rumours: Liverpool star in £50m exit
Real Madrid are chasing Steven Gerrard – and the richest club in the world usually get what they want.

Is there no end to the unsettling tactics of Spanish giants Real Madrid?
Arsenal know better than most the lengths the La Liga champions will go to make it clear who they are targeting – surely this is nothing less than ‘tapping-up’ and they should be punished.
The latest rumour suggests that Bernd Schuster’s side believe that they will convince Steven Gerrard to move to the Bernabeu for £50m at the end of this season (News of the World).
There has been much speculation about the long-term future of the Liverpool and England star, but I sincerely don’t believe he will ever play for another club.

Never say never. I'd really hate it if SG had to leave us. When he was on the point of signing for chelsea, my heart sank. But let's be realistic. SG is premier league champion and then some. And at 27 and not having won it once, he'll probably mull over it a couple of times. It all depends on how we finish off the season imo. If we win CL and end up on a very high note even in the PL I'd say no way. But if we don't win CL and not even 4th in PL, then that would make a huge difference for all that talent that is pushing 28.

he wants to win the pl and not the spanish league, he'll never move to spain, anyone that believes it, really is stupid

Anyone who would pay 50million for Gerrard is stupid. He's worth 15 at most. Totally overrated, and a black-hole of a player...the whole team has to play to accomodate him, a big one-trick pony who has managed to fool so many all the time.

What utter rubbish!!! Stevie G will never leave Liverpool. He is simply the best midfielder in the world excepting no-one! 50 million would not buy his left leg! Let's face it, if he had left the first time Chelsea came calling he would not have won the Champions League in the greatest football match EVER! Look at Michael Owen how sorry is he now!! Gerrard's career would only go downhill, like Owen's if he left his beloved Liverpool FC. Get real please!!!

Steve Gerrard will be leaving liverpool, but not merseyside, he will be joining his boy hood team Everton for a fee of around 8 million.

Someone else just said Gerrard is worth £15m tops. Are you insane? I agree he isn't worth 50, but he is worth AT LEAST 25. If it wern't for him Liverpool wouldn't have won the CL or the FA Cup in the past few years, and he always scores 7-12 goals in the league a season. Anyone with sense can see he is a world class player.

Gerrad's form is currently on fire so if other clubs are offering him a good deal why not take it,Stevie G must always remember that football is a very short caree.go stevie go..
