Liverpool in £10m Pedersen move
The newspaper talk about how Rafa will strengthen his ailing troops is mushrooming by the day. The latest talk suggests they may be ready to wing in again for Blackburn's highly-regarded Norwegian star.

At times last summer, it looked like Morten Gamst Pedersen would be leaving Blackburn Rovers. He was courted by a wealth of clubs seemingly keen to cash in on his talent. Mark Hughes managed to keep the Norwegian at Ewood Park but the speculation is beginning to increase again regarding a move to Liverpool (various).
Given the Anfield team's recent run of poor form it is no surprise that yet another target has been linked with a move to the club.
The need for Pedersen has probably never been more relevant with the current wingers experiencing problems. Ryan Babel, for instance, is probably still better used as a super-sub until he comes to full speed at Premier League level. The young Dutchman has a great future but it is too soon to rely to heavily on him.
Then, of course, we have Harry Kewell - and less the said about him the better. Blackburn are having another decent season under the Welshman and no doubt Hughes will once again be keen to stave off the interest of ‘bigger’ clubs such as Liverpool, Spurs and Everton, who have all been linked with the 26-year-old in the past. But can Sparky keep Pedersen for much longer?

I think the time might be right to get Pedersen, he is a quality player and would do us some good. We could even give them Harry Kewell as part of the deal!

Would you give Rafa Rotator 50-100m to spend (various articles)? No, neither would I. Are you Newcastle in disguise?

quaresma has no prem expierience and may turn out to be a flop. he would also cost more money and we all know the quality pedersen has. with his delivery the strikers would surely thrive, quaresma would be the greedy type and having only played in portugal (and spain for a tiny bit) he would be like babel in that he would take time to adjust. the only difference is that babel is faster.

He's not playing as well this season.Surely £10 million is a tad much.

i totally agree that we do not need any more squad players. It's quality first team players we need, AND a new manager!!!!!

im a blackburn fan, and to be honest i dont think that gamst has been playing to his best this season, i do agree with other people here that he would be a squad player at liverpool, tho if you give us 10 million and kewell i would be happy.

Pederson is a decent player but he#s not had the best of seasons so far. If we were looking to buy anyone from Blackburn it should be Bentley!
by Some Shit on February 19, 2008
Pedersen didn;t play any shit for blackburn yet. I didn't score any goals for them this season. Only Dav Bentley do that. Liverpool send scouts to Shalke to see Rafinha and Quaresma in the UCL man!
