Nice article. I agree on your top 4 for sure. Argentina have just a little edge on experience and class. I predict USA will be very strong regardless of their not liking international FIBA rules and that style of play. They are playing at home and will not want to disappoint. I really do believe the selectors have got the team selections right this team. There is a nice balance there and they don't appear to be a team of spoilt superstars.

I really hope that Puerto Rico puts up a good performance and qualify for the Olympics. Being from Puerto Rico, I watched the Caribe Basket tournament and, even though the competition wasn't that tough, we had a good performance. There are two things that worry me: consistency and Larry Ayuso. We need to be more consistent if we are going to challenge Argentina, Brasil and United States. Also, our main shooting guard, Larry Ayuso, when he is on fire nobody can stop him, but he being a rebelious man, he needs to put the team first and himself second and actually listen to his coach. Sometimes he forgets the game factors such as the tempo and the score and just wants to keep shooting threes. Hopefully, we go to China along with Brasil. Vamos boricuas!!!

Top 4 sound realistic, yet if Canada, Uruguay or V.I. put their act together one of then will go into the semi-finals. Canada: amid missing Steve Nash can do some damage but they will need to raise their offensive. Uruguay: Has the offensive and they're the " hungry dogs " willing to prove South America isn't only Brazil and Argentina. V.I.: Is of this 3 the one i think has more chances to become a headache for any favorite; they have nothing to loose and when they show up shooting well they are very hard to stop. Since they have the rebounds taken care of. Argentina should be second in it's group. They have had probably the best pre-tournament preparation of all teams. I don't see Brazil having bad games at this level, they only fail to deliver at World or Olimpic level. Puerto Rico: Just loosing center D. Santiago will change their aim for this tournament. They need someone like Ortiz to open the contrary
