Dunfermline earned a surprise 3-2 Scottish FA Cup third round win over managerless Rangers on Sunday.
The bottom club in the Scottish Premier League surged into a 2-0 first-half lead through Jim Hamilton and Stephen Simmons.
Phil McGuire headed Dunfermline's third goal in the first minute of the second half.
Rangers, under caretaker manager Ian Durrant after Frenchman Paul Le Guen left by mutual consent last Thursday, fought back with two goals from striker Kris Boyd to spark a frenetic finish.
However, Dunfermline held out to record a memorable victory and virtually end Rangers's hopes of landing any silverware as they trail league leaders Celtic by 17 points.
