Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a bye into the last 16 of the UEFA Cup after last week's expulsion of their opponents Feyenoord.
European football's governing body announced the decision on its official Web site (www.uefa.com) on Thursday.
Feyenoord, who have twice won the UEFA Cup, were thrown out of the competition by UEFA's Appeals Body last Friday following crowd disturbances during the Dutch side's group stage match away to Nancy in November.
Tottenham will now face the winners of the match between struggling Serie A side Parma and Portugal's Braga for a place in the quarter-finals.
