World number one women's doubles team Gao Ling and Huang Sui of China booked a spot in the Korea Open final on Saturday by wearing down South Korean tandem Lee Kyung-won and Lee Hyo-jung 21-19 21-13.
The Korean pair came back strong late in the first frame but Gao and Huang proved too much for the hometown favourites.
The Chinese pair will meet compatriots Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen, the tournament's second seeded pair, in the final on Sunday.
The South Korean men's team of Lee Jae-jin and Hwang Ji-man did not disappoint the home crowd at the $300,000 tournament, earning a spot in the final with a convincing 21-10 21-18 over Kien Keat Koo and Boon Heong Tan of Malaysia.
They will face compatriots Jung Jae-sung and Lee Yong-dae in an all-Korean final.
Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Thomas Laybourn of Denmark moved on to the mixed doubles final with a 21-19 12-21 21-16 win over Gail Emms and Nathan Robertson of Britain.
World number four men's singles player Chen Jin of China overcame a shaky second game and a contingent of enthusiastic Malaysians cheering in the stands to defeat Muhd Hafiz Hashim of Malaysia 21-9 19-21 21-11.
