I promise that Super Bowl XLI will be an event worthy of all the hype it is receiving. Some say it will be an easy Colts win, some say it will be an ugly defensive affair with the Bears prevailing in the end. Here are XLI (41) reasons why you have to catch this one live:

1. Two great friends and great coaches meet. We’re sure to see a bittersweet moment for one of them as both Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith said when the playoffs began that if their team doesn’t win they sure hope the other’s does.

2. Peyton Manning’s first Super Bowl. The guy will probably go down as the best QB ever (at least statistically), and we can witness his first attempt at winning the Lombardi trophy.

3. Brian Urlacher. This guy makes watching defense fun. Some of the things he does have to be seen to be believed.

4. We are guaranteed the feel good story of having the first African-american coach winning the title game.

5. Rex Grossman. If you’ve seen the NFL this year, you know why Rex is so intriguing. He will either make you wonder how in hell the Bears managed to get here with him running the show, or he’ll make you wonder why the Bears were the underdogs.

6. The Gator success ride takes another turn? Da Bears have four Gator alumni, the Colts have none. Some call it a sign, considering this year's domination of the Florida Gators in sports. Oh, did I mention that the game will be played in Florida?

7. It’s the Decatur Staleys vs. the Baltimore Colts! Two franchises with immense history, and both have been moved from their original cities.

8. QB stability the key to victory? The Colts boast the same QB since 1998. In that same span the Bears have had 11 different starters in that position.

9. Strange family ties. Rex Grossman’s grandfather played for the Baltimore Colts from 1948-51. Colts backup WR Aaron Moorehead’s dad had two catches for the Bears in Super Bowl XX (a Bears win).

10. Do Pro-Bowl selections count? Apparently not with the bookies, as Chicago has eight to Indy’s five, yet the Colts are still seven-point favorites.

11. Two Mannings better than one? Who knows? The Bears have two (Danieal, Ricky Jr.) as opposed to the Colts’ one.

12. Bears trying to keep perfect record. The Colts are 1-1 in the Super Bowl, having lost number III and won number V. Da Bears shuffled their way to a win in their only appearance (Super Bowl XX).

13. Miami a bad omen? The Colts lost Super Bowl III in this city, the Bears had their only loss of their Super Bowl winning season here against the Dolphins.

14. The Edgerin James camera. The Edge is a Miami native, and you won’t have a clue who he’s rooting for with the Colts having labeled him expendable last year. If he’s there, that camera will find him and will try to zoom in on his emotions.

15. The Bears fans pacing the Colts. As reported by NBC several Colts players grew up as Bears fans. Conflict of interest anyone?

16. All the John Elway footage we are to see in the intervals. We’re sure to see many great clips from this great QB as the comparisons with Peyton Manning are evident.

17. All the Dan Marino footage we are to catch. The dark side of the force has Dan the greatest being shown if Peyton’s Colts fall behind. Reminding us of the greatest never to win a Super Bowl.

18. Odds are great but ... Guess what, the last time the Colts were favored to win the big one, they lost. They were 17 point favourites in Super Bowl III.

19. Speaking of odds, it’s somewhat of a paradox that when the playoffs began the Colts had worse odds for winning the Super Bowl compared to Chicago’s, yet know they stand as favourites.

20. The guys under the radar. Dwight Freeney, Desmond Clark, Dominc Rhodes. Take your pick. One under the radar guy is sure to come up big.

21. Bernard “Circus Catch” Berrian. The guy had one “for the ages” highlight reel catch in both of his playoff games so far. Who’s to say he can’t do it again?

22. Joseph Addai. Did you see this guy dissect the Patriots D? Wanna see what he does to the Bears? I do.

23. Hurry-up offense in the Super Bowl? Rarely do we see the type of bootleg hurry-up playcalling that we are about to see from the Colts. This is true can’t miss TV.

24. What is it with the Colts D against the rush? Will the Bears RB tandem take them apart like it was expected before the playoffs, or will the Colts yet again stop the run?

25. Last time these two met, the Colts produced all the highlight reels in a 41-10 blowout. With the key Bears players having been there already, don’t you think they want payback?

26. The forgotten. With Berrian getting all the press, Muhsin Mohammed should be fired up pretty well.

27. Two week’s rest means ample time for all those battle scars to heal. We never know how these two will play with an extra week of rest.

28. All that talk about the Bears being lucky. The Colts are being dissed in the papers as most claim that the Bears would have been worse off with the Patriots than the Colts. Fuel to the fire!

29. The Manning family portrait. Be sure to check this out. At some point we’re bound to see the full Manning family on screen. Eli has already stated in an interview that the whole gang will be shouting for big brother Peyton.

30. Miami means great game. With one exception the past eight Super Bowls held in Miami were superb to watch.

31. Can’t lose with all the stories after game. Whether it’s Peyton’s first win or big loss, the Super Bowl Shuffle II or the fall of T-Rex we’re going to see a huge number of sub stories after the game.

32. Adam Vinatieri. The guy has never lost a Super Bowl. He has kicked a game deciding field goal already on this stage. The Colts have to be smiling that he’s with them now.

33. They’re saying the half time show will not be so hot this year. Last time someone tried to predict this we had the “Janet Jackson boobs” scandal.

34. Aerial attack. The Colts’ passing game is something we’ve last seen at the big game when John Elway was winning it.

35. The Bears’ special teams. I predict Devin Hester will score a fantastic kick return touchdown at some point in the game.

36. You’ll be hearing the words Israel and Tank on international TV without a mention of international conflict. Israel Idonije and Tank Johnson play for the Bears at DT.

37. The feel-good story of Joseph Addai and LaJuan Moore. Moore was a high school teammate of Addai who was paralysed in a game. The two have stayed real close friends. LaJuan was quoted saying nothing would please him more than seeing Joseph thrive at the big game.

38. I’m getting short on reasons here. OK, here’s one: The under the radar story of Roberto Garza. Not too often does the son of Mexican immigrants choose football over soccer. Yet here’s Garza, and he’s reached the Super Bowl.

39. Miami, home of police reserve Shaq O’Neal of the NBA’s Miami Heat. Think he’ll be around if any of the players misbehave?

40. Hey, Colts-Bears is a dream matchup even in the regular season. We should be thankful for such a Super Bowl.

41. Last year it was eXtra Large, this year’s will be known as eXtra Large and Incredible.
