Kilmarnock hammered Falkirk 3-0 in their Scottish League Cup semi-final clash with a Steve Naismith hat-trick at Motherwell's Fir Park on Tuesday.

They meet the winners of Wednesday's tussle between St Johnstone (II) and Hibernian in the final at Hampden on Sunday, March 18.

Naismith scored the opener on 30 minutes after collecting a flick on from Colin Nish to bury a 15 metre shot into the bottom right.

He then volleyed a superb second after 71 minutes from the edge of the box as Falkirk keeper Kasper Schmeichel started to come for the ball, then retreated and could only manage a hand on the shot.

Naismith wrapped up the tie with a penalty six minutes later after he'd been brought down by defender Kenny Milne.
