Dont think of Hamilton on the Schumacher scale. He is on his own scale which keeps on going for more greatness way past 'Schumi'. Some of us wonder if Schumi knew that and retired before he had to race Lewis, who has long been in the wings.

He is a potential great and I've been very impressed with his racing. It doesn't hurt that LH is coming into his rookie season with a constructor at their prime.

Do you actually watch F1? anyone who says that Lewis is "way past" Schumi couldn't have been following the sport for a long time! Yes, Lewis is doing very well and good on him but he still has a while to go before he can even join the ranks of Alonso and Hill, let alone the true greats.

Your opening comment actually made me laugh, 'Rarely do we see a story of a sportsman so enticing as that of Lewis Hamilton'. Are you serious? You churn out the next big thing on a weekly basis in England, hyping them up to unbelieveable levels where undoubtedly the pressure gets to them and they are then turned on, labelled as flops. Had they been left alone who knows? With no expectations and the British media expecting wine from water, they probably could have gone on to great things. Who knows how many youngsters have been ruined by your countries tendancy to swarm all over them from day one

Firstly - Please do not call me an idiot. It is offensive, and there is absolutely no need for it - if you disagree with my opinion, fine. Why does this then make me an idiot? With regards to my article, my comments that you refer to are not concerning the hype around Hamilton, but, as the wording suggests, the STORY behind Hamilton. i.e. meeting Ron Dennis at an awards ceremony etc. etc. etc. If you had actually read the article properly, you would notice that I do actually make reference to the multitudes of "potential" stars that were massively overhyped by the British media, and completely flopped. It's quite annoying really, I find myself in agreements with your comments, especially as I've expressed them in my article, only to have you call me an idiot for voicing them. I rather think therefore, that the idiot is yourself.
Accept my apologies then. I did go in all guns blazing having not read the article thoroughly
