Baskeball's NZ breakers have never had a sucessfull season since joining the Australian NBL a few year ago, Is this year any different? With 2 early losses , you can't blame people for thinking , its the same old story. I however see good signs with the team. The team although maybe it's two imports might not be as talented as previous years . Seems to be a well balance team. With it's imports playing specific roles. Point guard and center , while the rest of the team , Penny , Jones , Forman and the bear taking care of the wing and forward positions. This is a well balance team. and finally a real team, and not just a compilation of talented players who don't fit well together. Even though they have lost their first few games, the manner at which they are playing as a team will eventually bear fruit

The embattled england coach is not the worst ever manager. To coach England, you need a high level of emotional stabilty & the abilty to handle pressure. In England,u have to account for every decision you make on the pitch in case it fails to make an impact and Steve knows that.Unlike other nations,England is full of pride & has a lot of support for its team. Imagine what happens to Manchester United Fans when they loose to Arsenal.

By Elisha Mafunga Spurs has there man at last. we must concetrate to football. What the new man must do is to work hard to motivate players particularly defenders, this is the weakest area of spurs. The second area is fitness, the players are not fit enough. there always faulter during the second half and it has become a diseases for them to concede the goal at the 90 minutes mark or at injury time. I believe there is no difference between the players at spurs and those at Arsenal, what is missing is motivation and determination to win. The third is spurs keeps faith to failed senior players even when there were not performing well, Ramos must be able to overcome this weakness. Give other youngster chance. there is a lot of young players at spurs who can perfom well at the highest levelif given chance

It has been reported that Jonny Wilkinson, England's Rugby Union World CUp hero has switched codes with Wigan Warriors in a sensational move. Wigan, and former Great Britain international coach Brian Noble said: "This is a great day for the club, and in particular cross code relationships" Jonny Wilkinson was unavailable for comment. More news to follow....

We should appoint Fabio Capello immediately. He is avaialable, he knows the game and he's not English! At this moment in time we need a foreign coach because a. there isn't a UK coach good enough and b. we need the foreign dimension to lift us out of this 'we are the greatest with the greatest players' delusion. It is complete fantasy and the quicker we recognise that the more chance we have.

ithink that the three best Arsenal would be ,a central defender like Squillaci,a great striker like Farfan, and and croatian player LUKA MODRIC.

Please, the foreigners in the premier league should not be blamed for England's failure to qualify for Euro2008.other leagues in europe have many foreigners but still qualified, besides england has lots of exciting young players that have not been given a chance to show what they are made of, for instance; Darren Bent,Jermaine Jenas,Jermaine Defoe, carlton cole ,walcott, andy johnson, robert green and so on.

After spurs win against man city, zakora and kaboul through their shirts into the crowd like they had won the cup final.is it only me that could see the win has only masked over the cracks for another week?again the defence was awful with the struggling dawson again paired with the hapless kaboul.lee at left back was often isolated time and time again.against sterner opposition spurs will continue to concede loads of goals and yes i am dreading next weeks game against free scoring pompey followed by the scum.those teams must be licking their lips at the prospect of facing a team with no defence!january cannot come quick enough i bet for ramos! finally, does anyone know why defoe doesnt start and yet bent does?bent spurned 2good chances yesterday which had defoe been in the same position, would have taken at least one of them! if bent is worth 17m,defoe must be worth 30m!!

News and rumours on the radio in the West of Scotland this morning report that Walter Smith is preparing to bring back Kenny Miller to Ibrox in January. Personally I can't see Walter's logic here - Miller was signed as a raw 21 year old from Hibs by Smith (sold to him by then Hibs manager Alex McCleish), not given a chance the following years by Dick Advocaat and subsequently sold on by McCleish when he took over at Ibrox 3 years later. With a better than average stint at Wolves, followed by a poor season and a half at Celtic, he was again sold on to Derby as he was consistent in failing to cut the mustard on a weekly basis. So it beggars belief that Smith should even consider bringing him back (albeit Miller did a good job for Scotland over a few games),but with strikers like Darcheville/Cousin/Boyd/Naismith/Novo/Buffel at his disposal why the hell would he want to spend money Rangers don't have on an average striker like Kenny? With strikers like Lucarelli going to Shaktar, Tristan going to Livorno, Makaa

Did you read James Carter's comments regarding the All Blacks Loss in the World cup? His thoughts were & are exactly mine. With one subtle difference.I watched the coach on T.V. say it is only a jersey! The All Blacks were about to play France in GREY jerseys. When the coach of the All Blacks said that, I new we were in trouble. My god man, doesnt he know about the history of the All Blacks! My Dad would have turned in his grave when Graham Henry said that. Being the 6th generation Kiwi, I know how the All Black name got started. In one foul swoop, this guy changed everything. We have now lost Robbie Deans to the Wallaby's. Who is going to teach this guy thats been re-selected to coach the All Blacks that the uniform is all part of the New Zealand All Blacks!

hi all. i m spurs fan and i would tell what basically spurs fans want n what should they exactly do to achive that..we all know that spurs fans ve got frd up watching there team not in ccl..now they have dreamed to see apurs beating the hell out of arsenal n become best inte the world..one thing is 4 sure that this dream has shown to us by marton jol n we should praise him a lot but also we know that he wasnt the man who actually could achie this dream 4 that purpose ramos is that man.. i think we need players 4 sure...if we look at top 4 sides they all have one outstanding face like gerrard.febregas,essien.and carrick..but look at spurs midfeild we dont have any one out class young players like j ohara n so other could well be gud against pompey n man city but would they torment big 4 teams..certainly not..so it is clear that if spurs want to compete with the best they have to build there team having looked at top 4..if they get a face in midfeild who could play as gud as lampard or gerrard is we can

Until Newcastle Utd start taking their football seriously they will fail fail and fail again.TEN managers in the time Alex Ferguson has been at Man Utd says it all.NEWCASTLE don't take their football seriously!! They are TOO emotional at St James Park and NOT realistic,They have to STOP thinking they are a BIG club(am sick of that cliche) and first become a medium club as they are a SUPER long way away from BIG status,Keegan is an emotional response that WILL fail I predict 2 and a half years and then hes out!! trust me on that.Newcasle will end the season 16th.If they can reach the 5th and 6th spot in the Premiership within the next 7 years i'll be very surprised.Newcastle NEED a reality check and STOP whinchingand playing the POOR little Us card Oh poor little us we are So passionate and deserve a reward for all our support of our BIG club.WAKE up Newcasle fans and get RID of your BOARD and your emotional attachments and state of MIND(collectively)KEEGAN is the wrong way to start YOUR ambitions to 5th and

Shevchenko - waste of cash or not? Shevchenko: This guy cost 32 Mil. I'm not being funny but for that kind of "WONGA" he should be scoring in every game. Pity the big Ukranian couldn't even finish a bottle of "Stolly". Give that kind of cash to big Walter at Rangers and he'd buy 32 players and still have enough change for a "Carry oot". In fact if Rangers and Celtic were given crazy money (like a parachute payment the bottom 3 in the Premiership get) then i'd expect them to be knocking on the door of the top 4 in England. Does anyone really think that Aston Villa or Pompey could cross the border and get a result? If they do then i suggest they give Shevchenko the bottle of "Stolly" back and submit their sorry behinds into AA. Crazy Cash: Daniel Cousin cost big Wattie £700K, and Fulham are giving us 3Mil for him! How much cash does a bottom of the league team have at their disposal? This guy is 31 years old and causes trouble everywhere he goes. Yes he can score goals, but so can Derek Rior
Derek Riordan (if he is ever given the chance by the Ginga Ninja. I mean Sunderland have spent more this season than the whole SPL put together! I honestly beleive that Sunderland would struggle against Dundee United. No offence to Sunderland fans as i know they turn out in droves every week to support their club and they do have a fairly big Stadium, but their manager is spending crazy cash on average players, don't you agree? Rangers: I am a Rangers fan yes, but having watched a distinctly poor West ham v Plymouth game this season, plus a few Championship teams, Barnsley, Ipswich, Colchester and Plymouth to name a few, i truely beleive that our SPL teams would walk over most of the "overpaid" stars down south. That said its the fans who pay the hugely inflated gate fees and merchandise, and until we all vote with our feet then the prices will continue to rise. Congratulations to Blackburn Rovers for altering their ticket prices after the huge cash injection by Sky and shame on the rest of
shame on the rest of you "money grabbing". If it gets too expensive then you could always fly Ryanair from Stansted to Prestwick for £15 return and take in a real game at Ibrox for less money than a crappy game in Ipswich!

samb You may not have herad of him, coz he dont follow Contineental football, but he arrived in Portugal to Port FC when he was 16, as 1 ont he best Brazilian prospects, together with Diego (now in W Bremner) and Luis fabiano (now in seville). Anderson and Nani will soon be considered best in the world.
