After the nation was mesmerized by the boring Rugby World Cup, thank goodness we can now watch the magic of the NFL. At least there is real action and strategy in the game.

"Americans get up during actual play to hunt down nachos and peanuts, use the bathroom or talk on cell phones!" And cricket fans take books with them to pass the time, so whats your point?

From the looks of it, soccer in America is on its way up. MLS can boost a 16.000 average attendance this season. American football, however, will never ever catch up outside of this country-no question about it.

First of all, NFL Europe is not a measuring stick. It is a little less like seeking out attendance data from NCAA soccer games - that's how low the level of pla was, heck even the off-season burdened US fans did not care for NFL Europe. ... The point on loosing home games, as far as I have read, even in the best case scenario fans would only loose one home game every 8 years, I don't think they can not deal with that... ... ... The Superbowl in Europe comment has been taken out of context. Goodell was talking about 10-15 years from now, and igf all goes very well... ... ... As for Giants-Dolphins, it will have a max crowd - and the NFL has already been catching on (heck, we even have live games weekly on TV in Hungary now, that is proof enough).

I'm a Londoner and I love the NFL, and know plently of people that also share a passion for the game. This is the best thing to happen to British fans, long live the London game! Cliff, London
