I could have told you it was gonna be a hold fest... look at how hatton fought one Juan Urango... held him all night.. (mostly to the body shots) and mayweather is a master at tying his opponent up when neccessary. But listen mayweather isn't stupid, if he wants to fight another day then he's gonna try and get out of the fight anyway he can unscathed and unbeaten.. and he absolutely doesn't need to sell his fights with his own blood, Just his mouth and feet.....and hands as ol' ricky found out. Little paddy cake to the face never hurt no one.

Hatton was to light to tackle Mayweather. Didnt rate the ref either far to involved for the fight to be a classic, guess it would have ended alot quicker if he had just let em hold a little and break under there own steam. End of the day mayweather had too much weight and ability for hatton but but hatton did fight at 100% of his ability Mayweather prob 75%. Perhaps mayweather should step up a weight (or 2 ;) and fight Calzaghe
