It will be difficult for Europe to win with such a divisive figure at the helm. Lets face it half the team wouldn't want to see Faldo win anything if they weren't in the squad. He's probably actually more liked by the Americans for his attitiude.

I agree. A win for Europe in spite of Faldo, will mean that team Europe are such an effective unit, that the captain's only there for photo ops, and to annoy the opposition.

Spoken like someone who has only ever maybe shaken Faldo's hand, and never had to deal with his mightier than thou attitude on and off the course, not to mention his outmoded brand of sportmanship, and one dimensional media skills.
