Didn't fergie try to buy Huntelaar at the start of this year? Ajax said no, so fergie threw in Welback & Dong Fangzhuo to make up the numbers; Ajax chairman still hasn't stopped laughing.
Would there be a chance that we lose RVP to Ajax in the summer if they sell Huntlaar? Somebody just asked me if i believed it and i said im not sure. Doubt it but its always a possibility? Any thoughts?
Well I think you might well be right. I was hopeing that maybe we could sell him to Ajax. They just sold Huntelaar to Real for 27isch(?) mill and might be looking for a striker. Having said that Van Basten might know what a striker looks like.
Not only did Van Basten play him, but he also made him captain of Ajax at the start of this season. Odd then that he has chosen to sell him, after he scored 33 goals in 34 games for them last year. I guess the credit crunch has hit Holland too. Bendtner
