Think your being harsh on Keane calling his performance inept. He was living on scraps all night, getting stuff all service. He was anonymous in the first half because we couldnt find a way to get the ball to him.
If you've watched the match, Kuyt looked more likely to score than Keane. No sane manager would keep Keane on the field for 90 mins with such inept performance. Replacing Keane instead of Kuyt is the right decision.
