No care in the World being honest. Well said about Henman, the former British number 1! It seems all you need to do is get to a tournament to achieve that crown because he never actually proved it. Still, once again the UK media over-hyping anyone with even a hint of something so that his losses were a shock and he never really fulfilled his potential. That's the whole point, he did, his maximum effort was never good enough but people constantly expected this second gear to come he never possessed. Nope, I'll be avoiding this like the plague, thankfully we Irish don't indulge in this noncey game and concern ourselves with the likes of our own Gaelic sports, with soccer of course getting a look in not to metion rugby! Murray? He'll go crasing out quite soon, he doesn't have the power or technique to compete with the likes of Nadal or Fedderer. Anyone who says otherwise is deluded with the exceptions of his family, their delusion is expected.

Everything here is football and basketball. People are not interested in the U.S. Open. Team sports sell, while individual sports do not. Tennis is not only a n individual sport, but a more cerebral one, and it doesn't appeal to people who want thrills, dust-ups and a lot of testosterone.

Just have a giant raffle amongst the players with the top 2 picks getting to play Federer and Nadal in the semi's for blokes and just parachute Justine, Maria, Amelie and Jelena into the semi for the women - no need to hold a raffle as none of the others would even be able to win that. We could get the whole bloody tournament over in 3days and get back to watching darts or snooker.

Don't get me going, Craig. I'm all for chucking darts and snooker balls at tennis officials, but those two games send me to sleep even quicker than Wimbledon!

Couldn't watch them either, but not a bad way to pass the time while having a beer

I've been a huge fan of manchester united since i was a kid, but I've also loved tennis, and i think that this article is a huge insult to the beautiful game of tennis. Sure, it has dulled a little in the gentlemen's game because of a certain Roger Federer. But that doesn't take anything away from the tradition and history of the game, and no one should be putting the tournament or its players down just because you don't know the game. You're a football fan, fine, but that's no reason to take it out on tennis's biggest tournament OR Tim Henman, even if his glory days are over. Yes, you're out of touch. Way out of it.
