From a female point of view: The best pirate pants Rafael Nadal wears are the ones that are not at all baggy: they show off his great thighs! I don't like the baggy long shorts either but the tight-fitted pirate pants are great! ;-)

Nadal has not worn his trademark pirate pants for competition since Roland Garros, it is rumoured they are, alas, a thing of the past. I for one like his new knee length pants because, as the first poster says, they like the piratas cling to and accentuate his wonderful thighs and butt. What I did not at all like on him were the baggy unflattering 'in-the-hood' basketball shorts Nike put him into last year for the US Open series.

The only thing wrong with Rafa's pants are that they are too small. Or his underwear is too small, causing the gold digging he's now famous for. Yes, I advocate real tennis shorts over those shapeless things most guys wear now, but Rafa's are different and stylish. I like.

I love Rafa's look because it IS different. He wears everything well, but so great to see a man with a style nobody else has. Gosh, remember Agassi when he hit the scene. Earring and all! Got to shake things up once and awhile. AND, how about baseball pants. What woman can deny they love their uniforms....

Love Rafa's pirate pants, they really suit him, and are stylish & individual, to match his phenomenal tennis. Number one in every way Rafa! Vamos!

Rafa has no underwear or pants problem. As all his fans know, he has been nervously pulling at them since he was eight years old. It's just an unconscious tic that's worked its way into his serve preparation routine. Love those piratas and his immaculate turn out in general. He's the only player with individual style out their on court.

Quit picking on the sexiest little tennis player on the planet. He fills out ANY pants he wears very nicely thank you. Course when I watch him play (little does my hubby know) he might as well not be wearing ANY pants. grrrrrrrrr Think women of all ages all over the world don't have the hots for this tennis phenom? Check out the sometimes x rated fantasy posts on his website www.vamosrafael.com Men, wake up. If more husbands looked like little rafa, trust me...none of us would EVER have a headache.

Uh wake up guys....like the women watching rafa playing would REALLY complain about his pants? He is the hottest guy in the world, and the must awesome tennis player. I really don't think that when us gals are watching him play we are worried about his clothes. In fact, we are undressing him in our minds......right gals? VAMOS RAFA!!!!

Really people!! Why do you care so much about what people wear on the court! Rafa is number 2 in world, who gives a damn about what he is wearing, they obviously don't bother him, so why should they bother us??
by yorthae on August 07, 2007
maybe it would be better to force rafa to play without pants :) yummie :)

Rafa's capri pants are absolutly adorable!!! The problem that most people (at least in America) have is that they ARE different!! It seems like people are trying to Americanize Rafael and his pants...He is wonderful as he is...and if people don't like it...that's their problem... As for me...I LOVE his Pirate pants...they are sooooo sexy no?? :-P

I think Rafa's style is unique.I;ve always felt Rafa is the only guy who wears what he likes.and that is something that i like in any person

You said: <Good legs are sexy. Men enjoy watching the legs of athletic women. I am told women enjoy watching the legs of athletic men. Some women say they watch football because of the tight pants. I rest my case. You're welcome, tennis. I'm glad I could save the sport.> Your advice should be passed on to the National Basketball Association. I definitely miss the pre Michael Jordan days of shorter shorts and tatoo-free bodies.

Pk mentioned basketball. The hip-hop long baggy look is pervasive. Soccer, tennis, basketball and the worst: boxing. Those "shorts" are ludicrous. Enough!
