I think aiming for the top spot will be to high. I do think she can make a succesfull come-back ending in top 5, but more will be to difficult in my opinion. Yes she's consistent but so is Justine(and even before the come-back Lindsay had real problems with her). The Williams sisters are stronger too ImO and one or 2 of the newer names will keep on improving, not forgetting Sharapova. I put her on place 5-6 if all players stay fit.

i don't think lindsay will ever beat justine again. lindsay doesn't run for every ball. i remember watching her play justine at the US 06 and she just watched the ball go pass her withouteven running after the ball. as for the williams and maria, well, lindsay could beat them outside of the grand slams. when it comes to g slams, nah, big mama doesn't stand a chance

pretty nice article! the only thing is, to me, davenport is worse moblie wise than when she was before her retirement. i honestly want davenport to get back into the top 10 but it's a long shot, although the bottom 5 of the top 10 is constantly changing. davenport has won a couple titles already since coming back, but they're small tournaments and didn't give her much ranking points. i do see davenport making a lot of noise at the aussie open, i feel sorry for the seeded player who has to play her early! but i realistically see her getting into the top 20 for sure and even the top 15, but when (if) she gets into the top 10, we'll take it from there.......
