Hearts v Dundee


Dundee United recovered from their CIS Insurance Cup final defeat to Rangers with a win over Motherwell that boosted their chances of finishing in third this season. Goals from Danny Swanson and Mark De Vries saw Dundee United move into the UEFA Cup position but they will need to keep winning if they are to play in European competition next season. Mid-table Hearts are unbeaten in three and will be no pushovers at Tynecastle.

As Rangers continue their pursuit of a quadruple this is another must-win game at Ibrox if they are to overhaul Old Firm rivals Celtic at the top of the SPL. The Gers exertions in the UEFA Cup have led to a number of tired performances in their last few league games. This was illustrated by their 0-0 draw with Hibernian in their last game and they need to pick up maximum points as they are seven points behind Celtic with three games in hand. Dundee United are still aiming for a European placing through the league and at the beginning of April held Rangers to a 3-3 draw in a game they probably should have won after taking the lead on three occasions.

Scottish Premier League - Hearts v Kilmarnock - Live Online
Hearts still have high hopes of bagging a place in Europe through the league this season and will fancy their chances of claiming all three points against Kilmarnock who are second bottom. Kilmarnock manager Jim Jeffries knows his side must improve next season and their recent form has been poor. Killie are without a win in five game and in four of these games they have failed to score. These two sides met at the beginning of April and fans of both teams will be hoping for goalsin this one as that encounter ended 0-0.

Scottish Premier League - St. Mirren v Gretna - Live Online
Gretna are having an awful time of things in the SPL this season. They have been poor on the pitch and their problems as administrative level has led to them being docked points and the very future of the club is in doubt. Their troubled campaign was summed up by a 6-1 mauling at Inverness last week. St Mirren have not had the greatest of campaigns either, they have been marooned near the bottom of the SPL for much of the season. They have however won their last two games both by a score line of 1-0 against Kilmarnock and Falkirk.

Scottish Premier League - Falkirk v Inverness Caledonian Thistle - Live Online
Last time out Inverness hammered Gretna 6-1 at the Caledonian Stadium and they will be hoping to take the same form into their visit to Falkirk. Both these sides have little left to play for this season as they sit in eighth and ninth position in the SPL and are safe from the drop and cannot catch up the teams above them who are battling for a UEFA Cup place through a high league position. These two teams have met three times this season, Falkirk have won the last two encounters 1-0 but Inverness were the victors by four goals to two in the first match-up of the season.

Scottish Premier League - Motherwell v Aberdeen - Live Online
Motherwell are still favourites to finish third in the SPL this season and claim a place in the UEFA Cup next season. They have games in hand on all their rivals although they have picked up just one point from a possible nine in their last three games, although two of these games were against SPL title challengers Celtic. The Dons are three points behind their hosts although they have played two more games than them. Aberdeen have picked their form up since going out of the Scottish Cup in the semi-finals, they have won their last two games 2-1 against Dundee United and Hibernian.
