The closest Argentina recently has ever come to a Davis Cup triumph was as a runner-up in 2006. This year's team is currently ranked third by the International Tennis Federation and is led by the seventh ranked player in the world David Nalbandian. They will battle it out with the seventh ranked team from Sweden on the clay courts of Estadio Parque Roca stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With no players on their current squad in the top 50 rankings and the crowd solidly in Argentina’s corner, the Swedes are a big underdog in this contest.
